I don't know. It's not Friday the 13th. But we were gonna do it on the Friday the 13th. We had all the intention in the world of doing it on the 13th. However, um we decided to go and get tattoos.

Yes, you did. So, alright, go ahead. Alright, so the album of the day was actually released on Friday the 13th of last month, and it is Necropalace by Worm, which is my favorite band, actually. Um I met I met both of them when I saw them live in October of 2024, I think. Um, some guy linked me at that concert. Um, it was really weird, but it wasn't them. That's so gross. It wasn't them. Um, Phantom Slaughter signed my Blue Nothing tape with eyeliner because he didn't have a pen, and I didn't have a pen because my friend had just met Felipe Dugas, right? My friend had just met Phil in the bathroom. And um, I was like, oh my god, take my notepad and my pen in case you run into Phantom Slaughter or Phil again. And he was like, Okay, so he took my Sharpie and my notepad, and then I met Phantom Slaughter with no Sharpie and no notepad. So he had to run up the stairs behind the stage, like backstage, get someone's eyeliner. Don't know whose it was, I don't think it was his. Um, and sign my tape with it, which was pretty cool. That's loud. That is really cool. Um, have you put anything over it to protect that? The case. We should put something over that to protect that. But that's- I've been thinking about framing it, but I also don't want to like disturb its original condition, you know?

So it is relevant to our podcast. Worm originally formed in 2012 as a black metal one-man project in the Miami Dade County, Florida. Sorry, I can't like talk right now. It something is going on with my voice. I just woke up. Uh, Phantom Slaughter has been the only consistent member over the years. He also formed the band. He had past members such as Hellspawn, Nihilistic Manifesto, and Equiman Thorn. The current lineup is Phantom Slaughter Rothseptentrion, also known as Felipe Tugan, which is oh my god. That guy is so talented, he's so cool. He's also really nice. Um, and Charlie Corrin, occasionally, who I'm pretty sure I also met. Yeah, I did, before the show. But um, Charlie Corrin also, um, I'm pretty sure did the drums or bass on this album. But um, Marty Friedman also features on this album on the last track, Witch Moon. But um. Worm's Influence is right in your face, Odium, Cradle of Phil, Spectral Voice. I wrote Spectral Voice twice. Okay. Um I'm looking at my notes. And recently, Dimu Borgier. I hope I pronounced that right. Um, Dimu Burger. Um, Necropalace has made the band's sound completely 180 from their swampy funeral doom sound. Signature. Swampy Funeral Doom. Oh my god. Oh my god, I'm a mess right now. It's okay. Oh my god, my brain's not working. They've been kind of vampiric throughout their whole career. Um I think the vampiric thing started with um either Nights in Hell, paused, and then went to um Star Path, but I'm not sure. Um, again, I just woke up, but I'm pretty sure it started around Star Path. They're split with Dreamline Ending in 2023, I think. Um they're now a more symphonic vampiric black and doom sound, heavy symphonic. Um, yeah. Oh yeah, Phantom Slaughter was so fucking drunk, but it it was kind of funny, but because he was he was like trap nodding to gay creeper and chat. But it was really nice. Um, really nice guy. Um Phil autographed my notepad and he kind of questioned it because he was like, I have a tape or something that I could autograph. And I was like, No. I didn't know who he was at the time, and I was and now I'm really embarrassed, but at least I got his signature. Hey, you know what? That's cool. Um I had no idea who he was at the time.

And like the eyeliner signature was super light, so I didn't want it to accidentally write over it. But um That's really cool though. It was really cool. Phil was really nice, but he was really tired. I can imagine, dude. I'm pretty sure he fucking broke his arm recording the ribs for this album. Really? That was actually no, they were recording this album back in June 2024. Um, I think in Oregon actually. It said on the CD, I think. Or Encyclopedia Metalli, I don't remember. But um Yeah. That is my favorite band, and I personally really like the direction this album is going in. Um I love the I cannot wait for the VHS tape of all the music videos to come out. I'm so excited for that. Um oh my gosh. But they're finally shipping my tape for this album, like my cassette tape. Yeah. Um and I think I ordered it back in December. But it's been a while. It's exp uh originally the expected time of arrival was June, and I was like, oh what the fuck? Um, but he sent out an email yesterday saying, hey, we're gonna try to get those shipped out by the end of the month, because so it's probably stressing Phantom out too. Yeah. But I can't speak for him. The guy's super mysterious. Um, no, but cool guy. Really nice when I met him. Um Yeah. Oh, sorry, I'm popping my knuckles. Alright, moving on to the episode. Um there are three Friday the 13th this year in 206 2026. February, March, and November. I really hope there's a bomb ass tattoo uh flash sale in November too, because that would be great. Um I won't be broke then. Um the bombing of Buckingham Palace, September 13th, 1940. September is a really popular month. Um I don't remember exactly what happened because I wasn't there, but you know. Apparently the king and queen were inside when it happened, but they were like completely fine.
